Patrice Porter has been a member of HMOG since 1988, and was ordained a Minister on October 19, 2014. Raised in church, she made her commitment to Christ in Kansas in 1978. Music has been a primary ministry for her - she plays the bass guitar and is a vocalist. She is also deeply involved in Christian Education as a Sunday School teacher and spearhead of the yearly Vacation Bible School event. She facilitated the New Members Class for several years.
Min. Porter has been married to Elder Thomas Porter since 1975. They are the parents of Min. James Porter and Bro. Matthew Porter of HMOG, and Bro. Ozias Porter who is a minister-in-training at Faith International Church in Capitol Heights, MD.
